Question pc keeps crashing during gaming

im not too smart with computers but i recently built my first pc and all was fine for about a week or two until my pc started crashing during games. after playing for a bit, itd go straight to black screen until it rebooted. sometimes itll show a bsod that says there was a tdr failure and errors with nvlddmkm.sys. most times after a crash my display drivers will show the yellow warning sign in device manager with the error code 41 and id have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. ive already tried clean installing new gpu drivers but it still occurs so im not sure what else to do to fix this problem, it really didnt seem like this was an issue for the first few days that i had it set up. any help or advice is appreciated.
