Surprisingly, it doesn't crash while playing demanding games, instead crashing seemingly randomly everywhere else.

So far, these are the details:
- The PC doesn't crash when I don't do anything (i.e. don't move my mouse)
- The PC crashes without a blue screen and restarts
- Event viewer doesn't give any real reason for something going horribly wrong
- The HDD isn't responsible for the crashes, as it still crashes without it
- Reinstalling Windows fixed some other issues I had, but not this one

Due to this, I thought that this might be a hardware issue, but before I give it away for repairs I wanted to ask here if there is anything I can do myself.

Here are my Specs:

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 40 °C
Summit Ridge 14nm Technology
RAM
16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1197MHz (16-16-16-39)
Motherboard
Dell Inc. 07PR60 (AM4)
Graphics
S2418H/HX (1920x1080@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (ZOTAC International)
Storage
931GB Seagate ST1000DM010-2EP102 (SATA )
465GB SanDisk SDSSDH3 500G (SATA (SSD))
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GU90N
Audio
NVIDIA High Definition Audio

I'm grateful for any help!

brand and model of the psu?

My PC is an upgraded Dell prebuilt, so the PSU is still from Dell.
I'm not sure about the model (due to it being written in chinese), so here are all the details:

Another WAG.........reseat all plugs/connectors also the gpu.

If no help and no spare parts it might be service counter time.

Another thought..... type 'reliability' into the search box.
Perhaps the history will give a clue.
Welp, I might have gotten myself into another problem. I probably pulled too hard on my GPU while removing it (or something else), because now I don't get any picture and the lamp on my power button is blinking yellow (meaning that a component isn't working). The fans on the GPU however are still spinning.

Maybe this is the point where I should just give it away to repair...

Okay, it at least isn't the GPU. Tried it with my (still working) old one, and it still blinks yellow.

Unplug all disk and disc just to get those out of the mix......test
Sorry for the wait, but some stuff hat happened.

The problem with the not-turning-on was my RAM, which I didn't plug in correctly afterwards. Now everything on that front is working again.

Besides that, I had a friend of mine who is more well versed with electronics look over everything, and he recommended me to switch out my PSU, since it was the only thing I didn't upgrade (which might have lead to too much of a power consumption).

Due to that I have now bought a BeQuiet PSU with 700W on sale. It arrived today, but even after installing it, the PC still crashes.

Open the history and see if there is a clue.

The only driver I was missing is this one, other than that, nothing
When you swapped gpu's did you use something like this to clean out the old driver?

Well, yes, I did. But just to be sure, I used it again - amd for some reason, my PC hasn't crashed since.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it's looking good so far.
