So i bought and assembled a pc from newegg and have been using it for about 3 months with no problems, then just yesterday i started playing pubg and it crashed about 10 min in, then i tried playing another game and it crashed in the menu, and proceeded to crash somewhat randomly when i open menus on the desktop. tried reinstalling graphics drivers, switched the graphics card to a different pc, and it worked fine. reinstalled windows wiped the drive, and it still crashes, i havnt tried doing a reset of both drives and completely starting fresh, the reason i couldnt is it crashed and now when i start it up it goes to the bios screen like normal and then goes to a black screen with a white bar along the top and some green dots above that and is unresponsive. i did a cpu stress test just before this happened and it never crashed during that, so i know its not my cpu or graphics card overheating or going out. also i did some benchmarks, one was a 1million particle test and the other was a 3d glob type thing, both relatively low on the vram usage, but as soon as i did benchmark valley it crashed almost instantly. not sure if that had any significance i just thought it was odd, seeing how it does benchmark fine on my other pc. could it be my motherboard or psu is faulty?
my specs are:

MOTHERBOARD- GIGABYTE GA-Z270-HD3 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1

PROCESSOR- Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 4.2 GHz LGA 1151 91W

MEMORY- CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000)

GRAPHICS- GTX 750ti superclocked

HARD DRIVE- WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch

PSU- EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1 120-G1-0650-XR 80+ GOLD 650W

SSD- Samsung 250gb

COOLER- CRYORIG H5 Universal Mid Tower Cooler

Please help.

well i fixed it and as to how, im not really sure, i turned it on with just the integrated graphics, and then did all the window updates, restart, plug in graphics card, install drivers, and it works now.

Right when i got this pc i changed the registry to make it so everything automatically downloads into my hdd instead of my ssd where i keep my most played games and os. i had issues downloading windows updates and thats probably why. so now my question is, was pubg to blame for all this? or was it some mixture of pubg, messed up registry, perhaps outdated drives in my hdd, and the fact that a windows update tried and failed about 30 times? Someone answer so i dont look like a crazy person talking to myself and i can pick the best...

UPDATE: it crashed again after going through the whole reset process, right after i set up keyboard languages and privacy settings and it says hi and still setting things up for you it went to black screen, so this is a hardware crash right? and if so how do i tell what is failing?
