Pc keeps freezing

My pc screen keeps freezing. A loud, kind of static sound happens and the screen freezes. Altho they work, my mouse and keyboard and mouse are ineffective. The pc just freezes with the image it was displaying. Time doesnt change or anything either, its just an image. Cant clt+alt+delete or anything, forced to restart.
please help asap its rly annoying
