Hi,
My pc (built it 3yrs ago) keeps restarting. It won't even get into bios.
Things I tried:
*cmos reset, removed battery and also tried jumper
*reseated ram, tried only 1 stick, tried them one by one in each slot
*tried without ram
*removed GPU, SSD and HDD
*checked for dust
Nothing worked.
I noticed the powerplug made a very quiet electric noise once unplugged the psu so I moved the pc and plugged straight into the wall.
Not much changed except now without ram it starts for 3 seconds then restarts and stays on.
As soon as I put a ram in it starts, motherboard name pops up for less than a second and then goes into cycle again.
So it's not my gpu, not the cpu overheating and I did reset bios so can't be that either.
Is it possible that somehow all my ram sticks died (have 4) or is it the motherboard or psu?
Only thing I haven't tried is to removed the motherboard from the case completely but don't think that's the issues.
