My pc will just randomly shut off, like the power cable gets pulled. I can turn it back on right away though. It seems to happen at random. It was slow, only a few times a week, then once a day, then several times a day. I opened the case, cleaned it up inside, checked my connections and all that, and nothing changed. I unplugged my power supply and plugged everything back in. I took out my ram, tried it on one stick at a time for both, and it still did it. I bought an completely new power supply and it seemed to work, was fine for about a week, but then it shut down again. The event viewer says it is getting a kernal power 41 error. I tried everything i could find online to fix this, updated all of my drivers and all that. I just don't know what is causing it. My pc is only about 2 years old.
My parts are a gtx 1060 gpu, amd fx 8350 processor, msi 970 motherboard, and 16gb of ram.
Also i have done a hard reset on the pc as well.
Another thing i have noticed, is that it seems to happen more often when i am installing a game. If i try to download from steam or epic games, i seem to have it more often. I had not gotten the issue when i replaced my power supply, and i did download a couple things, but nothing large in terms of file size. But tonight while trying to download a larger game it shut down on me, then when i restarted and it began downloading again it shut down once more. I don't know if that has something to do with it, or if it's just coincidence though.
