Pc kids game from early 2000's kid in game wears a cape

I'm looking for an old pc kids game about a kid sleeping in his bed and then going into his closest and going into a new world and one part had a place where you can mess with chemicals or liquids to make a potion? And the kid had a cape and in his pajamas if you can find this I would be very much appreciated.
