Question PC Lag on cold start?

For the last few weeks or so I have gotten severe lag whenever I do a cold start on my Win10 custom built desktop. Goes away if I do a restart and works normally.

I was having an issue with my PC not starting on the first try before, but I fixed that by disabling the MSI fast boot in my BIOS. So it now boots on the first try, but is laggy.

MOBO is MSI H110 M Pro A2.

I have disabled fast boot on everything, updated all drivers, repaired any missing windows files (none were actually missing), enabled only windows startup files, ect.

Any ideas?

I would replace the cmos battery.

Why do you say that? Mobo is maybe 2 months old. Anyway to diagnose that to make sure?

Replaced CMOS battery, still doing it. Again, after restart everything is fine.

It's like its not shutting down properly. All fast boot (both windows and BIOS) are turned off. MSI Mobo. Any ideas?

I'm just having the same experience on my ASUS VIII Formula. Did you found a fix?
