PC LED's not working

So. I got a new computer from CyberPower recently and I got some LED's in it to make it look nice. When it arrived however, they didn't work so I tried changing the battery but that didn't work so I tried tech support but they weren't much help. The led's brand wasn't named on CyberPower but

Dont know if that'll help, it was a custom pc of CyberPower so I had to find the names via razer cortex

I have a very similar light strip. Make sure it is firmly pushed into a 12v molex plug that is plugged into your power supply. There is a remote receiver mounted on the wiring of the lights. Its purpose is to receive the signal from the remote when you push a button. Make sure the remote has a line-of-sight to the receiver on the light cable.

My lights had a remote with a cr2016 battery. The remote did not work because the battery was loose in the compartment. I put in a cr2032 battery to get it to work. The cr2032 is thicker than the 2016 and was able to touch the terminals better.
