This has been driving me nuts as I can't figure out what seems to be a really really simple thing. I have a MSI Mag Forge 112R case that has been having issues with the RGB fans (still ongoing, see other post) that I've been unable to resolve. There are two lights on the top of the case, one of which I know is a power indicator but I have no idea what the blue LED is for. To my knowledge, I have never seen this light on prior to the issues I was experiencing, but I can't find anything about the light ANYWHERE. What is the little blue LED light???

The Blue LED is for power, the red LED is drive activity.

They will only light up if you've wired them correctly to the motherboard's front panel header.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

I knew it was such a simple thing...I recently double checked the wiring of the fans due to the issues I continue to have with them, so I wonder if that resolved an issue with not seeing the blue light previously!

To me that blue light actually looks like it might have something to do with the LED switch button that's on the left side of the IO panel.
Well, I’ve been experiencing problems with the fans. The LEDs have just completely turned off. I’ve described the problem in a different post, but the LED button no longer works. If the lights turn back on (which they do occasionally for a variety of reasons), the LED button changes the color of effect. In this picture, the LED of the fans themselves were NOT working, therefore the button would not work.
