Few days ago i gave my old motherboard (asus p7p55lx), ram (some kind of Kingston 4x2 HyperX DDR3 1600Mhz ram), an Intel i5 750 processor, and a Asus Xonar DG soundcard to my friend.
These components worked perfectly in my PC, but after i gave it to him, he bought a new case and a new 700W Chieftec PSU, and after we installed win10 we discovered some problem:
- PC only see half of the ram (other half reserved for hardware)
- random BSODs
- random bugs (no volume, microphone not working)
After some searching, i saw in the BIOS that the 5 and 12 Voltages are critically low.
I didn't had the opportunity to try the pc with another PSU yet, but i think the cause of the problems is this new PSU.
I link some photos, one is in hungarian, but i hope you guys will unterstand it.
