[SOLVED] PC monitor HDR problem: what could it be?

Hi, I would like to ask you if you noticed this problem when playing with games in HDR mode: after playing for some minutes the problem appears at the left or right edge of the screen (just near the black bezel) with a sort of discoloured light/colour which extends vertically. The issue appears in bright scenes particularly with reds, greens, browns or yellow colours when you move the mouse around or when the character runs in a game and the scene moves. I have recorded two videos showing this issue at the left side of the screen that appears only in HDR mode:

The games I recorded above are Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Horizon Zero Dawn but it appears with all HDR games I tested. My monitor is a 4k PC display certified HDR600. Changing graphics drivers, colour settings and other settings did not solve the problem.
Did you notice the same problem in HDR mode with your PC monitors?

HDR600 means it is an edge-lit panel. That might be a byproduct of such lightning.

it has local dimming with 16 dimming zones. Do ALL hdr600 monitors have this problem? I can find no mention about it on the internet (nor on professional magazines)

It looks more like a defect with the monitor than a defect "by design."
