pc monitor will NOT pick up my motherboard VGA or HDMI port signals!

Im currently building my first computer and I cant get my monitor to pick up a signal from the VGA or HDMI ports on my motherboard.

Here are my specs:
A55m-E33 ATX micro motherboard
AMD A-series 7400k black series CPU
Kentek 680w power supply
Kingston 2GB ram(2 of them)
Barracuda 750GB hard drive

When I turn the pc on, the case fan and cpu fan starts up, the lights come on, and the hard drive kicks on, but nothing on the monitor.
Ive tried hooking the monitor to another computer and it works fine, so I know the monitor is good.
Ive tried both VGA and HDMI ports with no luck.
Also, I hooked the mobo speaker up to listen for beeps to help me out but no beeps come from the motherboard. Everything seems to be running like it sould, sounds ok. Im at a stand off with this thing and it is kickin my butt!!!

So thats the problem?!? Dang it, I really appreciate it. If you dont mind, what cpu would u recommend using on this motherboard?

What will be the PC used for and what is the budget? Will you use a graphics card, or not?

I'm building a computer. When I turn on my computer it works fine but my monitor won't pick up HDMI or VGA signals. Help please

What components? Is the CPU fan spinning when starting the board? Is the monitor connected to the graphics card and not the onboard?
