Hello first post here. Unfortunately I am having a bit of a problem with my computer. It's an ASUS model number M11bb with an A10-6700 processor. The symptoms are, I will be on and it will just go black. The screen says no signal, as if nothing was plugged in. The mouse turns off, no red light on bottom. And the keyboard turns off, number & caps lock buttons are unresponsive. I can NOT turn off the computer via the power button, the only way is to unplug it. I was think the motherboard but wanted a second opinion.

Thanks for your time, Zach

I haven't tried that, but it didn't cross my mind because I bought the pc from a store.. I thought clearing the CMOS was to check for incompatibility between hardware.. Thanks for quick reply aswell

Well there is no harm in trying as long as you do it properly.
But a similar problem happened to my brother and clearing the CMOS fixed it up :)

I will definitely give it a shot. I just tried to turn it on, nothing. Hopped right into the symptoms from before. I will try it again after i grab something to eat.

Alright, tell me how it goes!

Well, the thing is running. But, still has the symptoms, and now it is just going straight to acting up. I tried to reset CMOS manually, no luck. Is it a target for good 'ole AR yet? 😀
