I recently built a new PC for my brother, but we can't seem to get it to boot. When we push the power button, everything turns on, all of the fans and LED's and such, but we get no signal to the monitor. We tried unplugging the GPU (a 1080 Founders) and using onboard, but it still doesn't boot. The motherboard is an Asus B150 Pro Gaming D3, and when booting, both the SB_Power and VGA_LED turn on and stay red. The power supply also sometimes flashes a bright white when hitting the power button, but we don't know if that has anything to do with it. We even tried removing all the RAM and seeing if the PC made any beeps, but got nothing. (We tried the RAM on my PC and it worked fine, and the monitor is fine because I used it as a second monitor the same day we tried his.)

We tried with an EVGA 1080 Founders, but got no signal. We are also using an Asus monitor that I know works, as it gets a signal from everything else we try it with. I don't think the issue is the GPU, only because trying onboard had the same effect.

Holy crap, it turned on! So, does that mean one of the RAM sticks is bad?

Okay, now everything seems to be working. I feel so stupid, although I swear I removed the RAM and re-inserted it. Anyways, thanks a lot!
