Hello,
I've been experiencing an issue with my RAM sticks. They've been part of my setup for 2-3 years without any problems until about a month ago. Initially, only one stick was detected, then after switching slots, it worked for a bit but had occasional boot failures. Now, my system won't boot at all with the original sticks. I was using the Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G32C16U4B 3200 MHz, DDR4 (2x8GB).
To find out if the RAM itself is the issue, I tested it on two other systems on which it worked perfectly fine. This led me to suspect a motherboard issue. However, even after switching to a new motherboard (B550M AORUS ELITE), the problem persisted. Now the strange part is that I now tested different RAM (G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3200 DIMM CL1618-18-38) on my System, which works flawlessly and allowed the system to boot again. Any insights into the underlying issue here?
