Hey the motherboard supports this CPU, there shouldn't be any need to do this but I'll try. ThxIt could have something to do with the compatibility between your mother board and CPU
in which case try resetting the CMOS by putting as metal object across the two pins (search which pins you need to do it to)
and if that doesn't work you have to upgrade the BIOS and the only way i can think of for that is by putting an older model CPU in that is compatible with your current Bios version

Is it possible to update without a new CPU? I can't get one any time soon. This pc is not for mesame with my mother board, but after trying somethings i found out the drivers on the motherboard needed to be updated to work with the CPU
Iv also realised that people are saying that the bios

I don't have a jumper for my cmos, any other way? this is using all brand new parts. I don't think I will have to reset itI will have a look into it, it might be just the CMOS needs clearing so also check that

https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Motherboard/GA-A320M-S2H-rev-1x/support#support-cpu I just found this, go to the bottom, that's my cpu the amd Athlon x4 950
no change after doing the cmos restartyou can use a paper clip, touch the two pins on the paper clip and you will be good to go, good to try it because you never know.
no change after doing the cmos restart
iv tried 2 psu's I swapped it out fom my own pc and no change but the brand is integrator 600w, and the other is unbrandedOkay so it has nothing to do with the bios version and if clearing the CMOS did nothing, could you tell me the make and model of your PSU

this is a new build, im only trying to get into the bios, I don't have a oppo system yetOkay PSU isn't a problem only things i can think of are:
- sata cables are all plugged in
- pluigged into sata 1 header on motherboard
- oppo system is correctly installed
- Your PC power is plugged directly into the wall (sometimes having it in an extension lead doesn't work)
also the pc boots but don't postthis is a new build, im only trying to get into the bios, I don't have a oppo system yet
also the pc boots but don't post
thanks! im really thankful that your trying to help! ill make sure to keep trying new things!I look some more into it but i have no idea at the moment, will come back when i know some more stuff, good luck
iv done all of that already, people are saying its the cpus fault but it says its compatableThis checklist will give you a good way to systemically determine what is causing the problem: Perform these steps before posting about POST/boot/no video problems!
You are plugged in to your GT710 Video card with your monitor cable aren't you? Some try to plug into the motherboard , that only works with a Ryzen APU. Also when you reset you CMOS it has to be unplugged and power bled off. Have you tried with 1 stick of ram in the recommended socket? The web page shows F1 compatible with the Athlon x4 950.

yes hello, the mb was apparently sent out with version 10fThe motherboard is only compatible if it has F2 or newer version of the bios. If the motherboard only has F1 you are stuck unless you can find a tech shop with a Ryzen 7 1700, Ryzen 7 1700X, or Ryzen 7 1800X. At any rate if its your motherboard it would be cheaper to buy a new B450 after they charge about $50 to update your bios. Also be sure to understand your CPU has no video so your A320 video outs will not work. You have to use a video card with this CPU as its stated integrated graphics none.
