pc not powering up

Hi, i bought a new case, upgraded to an 'in win-e atx grone, so i moved all parts from old pc to the new one..no power. Everything is plugged in correctly, ive tested the power supply separately and that seems to be working fine as there is cold air blowing from the fan. Question is, is there a way to check if its the new case thats faulty as i have a feeling it is. These are my specs..

i7 4790 processor
8 gb ram corsair vengeance 2x4gb
corsair cx500 power supply
gtx r9 280x
Asrock h97 pro4 motherboard
