This happend a few days ago. There was big storm in our region and lightning striked my computer. After that it wont turn on(Nothing seemed to be working). After a research on the internet i replaced my powersupply. Now the system fan, cpu fan and graphics card fans are working.(The fan of the graphics card is not rotating but just vibrating. But if i touch it with something it then starts rotating). At some instants all the fans stop working and starts again if i vibrate the case. The redlight which indicates that the data is being read from the hard disk is off.The greenlight which flashes when i turn on my computer is also off. There are no sounds from the motherboard.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!
Thnx in advance

Solution
I feel safe saying the MB is dead. that is the only real test you can attempt without spares. you will need another motherboard( or motherboard-CPU) to even begin to test the other parts
Nothing was working with the old psu. When i installed new one atleast the fans are turning on.
Specs
Pentium g645 @2.9Ghz
6Gb ram
Zotac Gt 730 2gb ddr5 graphics card
Seagate 500Gb hard disk.
Usually when i turn on my pc there was a beep sound.but now it dosent beeps.
Old psu-Zebronics 450W (Zeb-450(DSATA))
new psu-I ball 450W(Pps-255)
Now there is no sound from the hard disk... Feels like it is dead.

Zebronics. unfortunate.
A very low quality unit, I am almost certain that any protections the unit had were defeated.
Each part needs to be tested.
first test. reset the BIOS. remove the RAM from the motherboard and attempt to boot. a working motherboard should beep - letting you know that the RAM is missing.
it has been my experience that no beeping with no RAM means a bad motherboard.
do you have any other parts to test with

the new power supply is not any better I'm afraid, allowing a total of 255W but that should be enough to run the rig. you are sure the PPS-255 works?

No beep sound from the motherboard even after i removed the ram.And i can hear a bad sound from something may be the graphics card.Iam sure that the current psu can handle my rig. Previous one was 5 Years old.Didnt reset the bios as monitor is showing no signal.

Pull the GPU and disconnect everything but the power and the front panel wires. No beeps can also suggest the CPU is completely non-functional. Only way to know if one or the other, if not both, will be to test them individually too... (a bad motherboard could damage a working CPU though.)

When i disconnect everything from the motherboard except the powersupply and front panel wires no sound from the motherboard.processor fan is working.Thats all. Boosted1g what u said is right. That was the wrong button. SORRY!!!!The cpu was brought from a local shop they assembled it.

motherboard is gone, still questionable are the RAM, CPU, GPU, and drives.

It's possible the HDD is dead too. Only way to know is to connect it to a working PC and see if you can access the data.
