Question Pc not turning on again

So i currently bought a new cpu (i5 9400f) which lead to me getting a new motherboard (Asus H310M-k) i put together and replaced my old parts with my new parts that i got.. But one thing doesnt fit which is my Ram (fury hyperx 2x8gb sticks) which dont fit in the motherboard, so i tried turning the pc on without the Ram and it dowsnt turn on at all... Is it because i dont have Ram in my motherboard or is it becuse i havent installed those small cables being the LED, Hd Audio cables etc?? Please help thanks so much!

Well of course? your computer will never turn on without a ram attached, buy a new ram.
