Hi guys, as title says my PC has been off for around a year I’d say and now I’ve got time to use it again I’ve bought a new monitor and whilst the PC turns on no problem, the display isn’t working. I’ve tried all HDMI slots, removed the GPU and reinserted it and still no luck.

I’ve got an RTX 3060 and an i510600KF for the CPU. Any ideas?

just making sure you have used the GPU HDMI ports, not the board I/O?
and this display was purchased new not used, preowned, refurbished?

include your complete system specs along with the display make & model.
Yes, using GPU HDMI ports. Display is brand new out of the box today .

Apologies, it’s been a while so I have forgotten some details about my setup and have done some digging.

CPU: Intel Core i5-10600KF4.8GHz Turbo Six Core Comet Lake CPU Processor - LGA 1200
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB EAGLE OC V2 Ampere Graphics Card
RAM: Kingston FURY beast 2 x 8GB 3200MHz DDR4
SSD (which Windows is installed): WD SN770 1TB M.2 2280 NVME
PCI-E GEN4
HDD: SEAGATE 500GB SATA 3.5” HDD
MOBO: MSI Z590 Pro Wifi ATX DDR4 LGA1200 socket

That should be all

include power supply make & model + it's overall time in use.

and
have you tried a different display(TV, alternate monitor, etc...) with this system?
Power supply is Corsair TX850 bronze 850 Watt overall age is about 3 years 2 of which actually in use.

The monitor is from currys (https://www.currys.co.uk/products/s...-24-curved-va-lcd-monitor-black-10247686.html) best link I could find.

I’ve tried other monitors yes and still nothing displayed. Also tried changing HDMI cables round which also didn’t do anything.
