Question PC not working ?

Hi guys, I'm writing here because of a problem with my desktop PC. After Christmas I decided to upgrade my old processor (Ryzen 5 3600) with a Ryzen 7 5700x+3d combined with an MSI b450 tomahawk max motherboard, and also adding two banks of 2×8 GB RAM to my old 16GB (in total 32GB ).
However, I was aware that I had to update the bios to make the mobo and cpu compatible, because the mobo was 3000 ready.

However, as soon as the new cpu was installed, the pc wouldn't turn on, so I thought it was the bios. So, since the PC wasn't turned on, I tried to update it with the flash bios button, but there was no LED so I unplugged and reconnected the USB stick a couple of times, and here I later realized that I had made a mistake. The next day I replaced the old CPU and in that case the PC turned on but there was no display, so in a panic searching online I tried to reset the bios by disconnecting the battery, however nothing changed.

Now I don't know what to do anymore, I would like to upgrade the CPU and have 4x8 GB RAM. If further information is needed, there are no problems.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

What were your old ram kit and what is your new ram kit? Links to said kits would help us two fold.

You're advised to always update the BIOS, then clear the CMOS prior to dropping in any form of hardware upgrades.

You're adding undue stress on the Integrated Memory Controller(IMC) and as such, you'd have had better performance out of your platform if you went with a 2x16GB ram kit. Given you're on a Ryzen platform, you would've needed to look into a 2x6GB DDR4-3200MHz/3600MHz with tight latencies to get the most out of your AM4 platform.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:

Hi, thank you for the answer. Sincerely i don’t know what version am i in now, but for support the ryzen 7 5700x+3d i have to uptade the bios 7C02v3l. The new rams are the same as the old ones. then i knew it was better to have 2x16 gb but having already 2x8 I didn’t want to throw them away.
