So i recently joined the pc community after building my first one a little over a week ago now. Everything was running just fine until this morning when i went to turn on my pc and it wasn’t booting up, connecting to my monitor, etc. I noticed a solid white light next to CPU on my motherboard. I tried looking it up and talking to my friend who excels in pcs and he is confident that my bios/cmos is being funky and causing my problem. I’ve tried resetting cmos, unplugging everything and plugging it back in, the whole shabang and i can’t seem to figure it out. Any possibilities?

Refer to the motherboard's User Guide/Manual to identify that "white" light (LED).

Determine what the light may be indicating by 1) being on, and 2) the color displayed.

This motherboard?

Do verify that I found the applicable User Guide.

Perhaps one of EZ Debug LEDs per physically numbered Page 36.
I went and checked the manual and it says that it means my CPU isn’t being detected or it’s failing. But the weird thing is that i was just playing on my pc last night and everything was fine. And when i was done i fully shut off my pc. Any possible reason why it’s being like this?
