For the past few months, my PC has occasionally frozen in a variety of scenarios. When this occurs, no mouse/keyboard commands work and I'm forced to hard reset my PC. This usually happens when I'm browsing. During games, my PC will freeze for a minute but eventually become functional again.

My specs are:

Intel Core i7-3770K @ 4.0 Ghz
Gigabyte GTX 970 FTW Edition
8 GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM (can't recall the brand)
EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G2 80+ Gold PSU
1 TB Seagate HDD (can't remember model)
Windows 10 Home Premium 64-Bit

I recently changed from a Corsair HX750 to the EVGA because I thought that the PSU was the issue, but apparently not. What could the issue be?

Solution
I would look towards the amount of volts your cpu is receiving especially under stress.(possible it's dipping to low and causing the crash) I use cpu-z during stress testing(open hardware monitor is another). Also, check your ram.(you can use windows built in memory test or memtest 86)
