Hey all,

So, just as the title states. I can only get my PC to boot from the bios boot menu. A little background - this is a new build and it has never been able to boot straight to windows. As for troubleshooting so far I've, cleared cmos in my mobo (Asus TUF Gaming B650 Plus Wifi) and performed a new boot flash using different bios iterations, I've reinstalled windows 11. I've tried using only one stick of ram (G.Skill ddr5 6000mhz). I've reinstalled all the drivers including my cpu (7800x3d) and the ones related to my mobo. My only bootable drive in the bios is the windows drive I have. I'm at a loss at the moment and would love some feedback/help.

Do you have the boot priority set for you OS drive? I assume you installed windows from USB and it may be that the boot priority is for a USB device ahead of the OS drive still.

Yes I did install from a USB drive. Would that info be in the boot tab in my bios? Because from what I see what is selected as my boot drive there is my windows drive but, maybe I'm wrong.

I finally figured it out. The answer for me in case anyone checks this thread for future troubleshooting was. I had the option in my advance bios settings to, "Press F1" if any errors occurred in my bios upon a boot. The error was related to a raid option my mobo has. Once I deselected this option the PC boots into windows.

Nice find, I figured it was some BIOS option. Enjoy the new computer!
