I did a major upgrade on my pc 1/23 where I changed out the motherboard, cpu and graphics card. Amd 5 Ryzen 5600x, MSI Carbon B550 gaming wifi motherboard and Gigabyte 5700xt oC 8gb gpu. Everything was running fine except whenever I would load video games my screen would black screen and pc would reboot. After multiple ram tests and gpu drivers reinstallations over a couple of days I concluded my psu wasnt cutting it for the new gpu. Friday I installed a new psu and now my pc only boots to BIOS. None of the sata ports are detected, my harddrive and 2 ssds are not detected.

I have now have in my pc only my ssd with windows in it and I am trying to figure out how to get it identified and booting up. I was thinking of resetting the cmos but I am worried about the 5600x not being identified anymore amd having to flash update the bios on the board again with parts still installed. Here is my current parts list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VtT3Bc

EDIT: I did an edit to try and make my issue more clear. I do not have an extra computer or laptop so I am posting from my phone, so I tend to make more typos and leave out words. Also, because I do not have an extra device, I am unable to see if my drives are still active and didn't somehow get fried in the psu change.

Don't worry about resetting BIOS/CMOS, once flashed it stays. only settings in CMOS are set to factory defaults. You can also press F5 to do it. Removing battery and/or resetting it by posts in MB is needed only if you can't enter BIOS.

might be a stupid answer but are the drives connected to the psu after the psu change...

Yup, and I've tried multiple wire setups to see if maybe something was faulty. I also have one of my fans on a power cable that is directly hooked to the psu that I've been checking the psu ports with. Family always powers on.

Alright, so I do not need to reset cmos? I'm at a real loss on why my board is not recognizing my ssd then.
