So as i said, my PC only shows 5GB of RAM out of 8GB and im not sure why, it used to only say 4GB and then i switched the sticks into slots 1 & 3 and it gave 6GB however it since dropped to 5GB now, i also crash sometimes playing games with the BSOD memory managment, i've run memory diagnostic tests, and it comes back saying no problems.

My Specs are:
AMD FX-8350 8 Core Processor, 4.0Ghz
MSI 970 Motherboard
8GB Hyperx Fury RAM DDR3
R7 260x GPU
1Tb HDD
Windows 10

Solution
You should only need to do the extra passes when no errors are being detected.
generally, you want to make sure you have updated the bios to get the best default memory timings for your motherboard. then retest to see if you still get errors. if you do, you can change voltages to the memory or change the memory timings and confirm that your bios timings match the RAM chip timings.

if you can not get a test to pass, you might want to see if you can test each stick one at a time to find a bad stick.

here is the description of test 6
6 [Block move, 64 moves]
This test stresses memory by using block move (movsl) instructions and is based on Robert Redelmeier's burnBX test. Memory is initialized with shifting patterns that are inverted...
1| By memory diagnostics test did you use Memtest86? If so did you run it for at least 10 passes?

2| Have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date? Speaking of which, when in BIOS is all 8GB of your ram recognized? You should specify the model of your MSI 970 board.

3| You didn't mention the make and model of your PSU. Please include it as a followup.

4| Are both sticks of ram identical or off a kit?

Hi and thanks, i'll try running for 10 passes, and i think the BIOS is up to date i tried to flash it with a usb and i think it updated, i'm not too sure where to find the right updates, the model is MS-7693.
And sorry my PSU is an Alpine 750w PSU.
As for the RAM they are identical i think i bought them both together.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Birkitt19 : "Only 4Gb RAM available of 8Gb."

what version of windows 10 do you have installed? 32 or 64-bit?

Is this the motherboard in your system? If so, then you'll find the latest BIOS updates here. Can you go into BIOS? If so you can locate the current BIOS revision number in the top left hand corner.

If not then download CPU-Z and look at the motherboard's tab.

That PSU of you'rs isn't reliable at all. It should be swapped out immediately. Pertaining to your memory, you got 4 errors when in Test#6;

and I asked you to go for 10 passes, at least.

6 [Block move, 64 moves]
This test stresses memory by using block move (movsl) instructions and is based on Robert Redelmeier's burnBX test. Memory is initialized with shifting patterns that are inverted every 8 bytes. Then 4mb blocks of memory are moved around using the movsl instruction. After the moves are completed the data patterns are checked. Because the data is checked only after the memory moves are completed it is not possible to know where the error occurred. The addresses reported are only for where the bad pattern was found. Since the moves are constrained to a 8mb segment of memory the failing address will always be less than 8mb away from the reported address. Errors from this test are not used to calculate BadRAM patterns.
