Valid temps? . Room temperature 30-35C. Anyway those are absolutely my gpu/cpus max temps.

Using Corsair carbide 500R case with stock (2 Front 1 Left panel 1 rear) fans .
I got 3(120MM) slots for extra fans . Is there anything to worry about/ Should i re apply thermal or just let it be? .

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Well your GPU temps seem fine to me for that ambient temperature. Your CPU temps could be better, though I think that's as good as you'll get with the stock cooler. I'm not saying that's hot by any means, but it could be cooler considering games aren't too CPU intensive.

The addition of more fans might lower your temps marginally, but a better CPU cooler will make a significant difference. Something like a Hyper 212 EVO, or Raijintek Themis would reduce your temps and are pretty economical.

Yep using stock cooler . If i install 2 120MM fans at top (80-90CFM). will it help decrease temp around 5-10C ?

Playing games (GTAV , Witcher 3 , Division ) etc . My gpu never hits over 74C . And cpu 72C max . Last winter temp was 64-65 C (GPU) & 58-61 (CPU) Under load.

Im using a crappy psu ._. Corsair VS 550 .It will be enough to handle i5 4690+ r9 270x + that cooler u mentioned? So i can just go and grab a new cooler in next few days. Thanks for the reply .

The cooler won't increase your power consumption. In all likelihood the fan on the stock cooler will use more power (because it is spinning so fast) than the one on an aftermarket cooler. Either way though, we are talking about a difference of less than a single watt in most cases.

Make sure to get something decent. If you are unsure, post a links to the ones you can get and we can critique them for you. I know that not every cooler is available in all places. For instance I'm in Canada. The Themis that I mentioned in my previous post is actually slightly better than the Hyper 212 EVO and it's cheaper, but it's not available here in Canada.

Im going for this if it fits my socket (1150) . Mentioned below AMD AM2, AMD AM3, Intel LGA 1155, Intel LGA 1156, Intel LGA 1366, Intel LGA 2011, Intel LGA 775 @_@

Well okay . I will buy it asap . Many thanks mate! Have a great weekend .

Thanks you too. Update this thread when you get it so we can see how you made out. It's always good when people are searching the threads for similar problems that they can see the results of any actionable advice they get.

I noticed the link to Flip Kart, so it's obvious that you are India (which further confirms you high ambient temps), I've got a few friends in India that I worked with in Yemen.
