hi, my rig is
i5-3570k
vapor-x r9 280x
fury 8gb 1600mhz
wd black 1tb
CM K280 case
msi z68a-g43
antec quattro 850w

when i open speedfan i check temp 1 and it reaches 106C when playing AC Unity or GTA V
and the GPU reaches 80C
at first i thought it was a PSU problem since i had first CM extreme 2 525w
and i had only one fan in the case
i equipped fans in every corner and upgraded to antec 850w
but no real difference happened

i set the GPU Fan to 95% speed and it only fixes the gpu

my problems are
1- what is Temp 1? (the one right under CPU : in speedfan)
2- why does it overheat so bad ?

Language.

The K280 is a very bad case for airflow, with a single intake at the front and a single exhaust at the back. This means that high end components (like yours) compete for what little airflow there is in the case. The heat gradually increases until it becomes hot enough for your parts to throttle.

You could try reseating the cooler on the CPU, as the stock cooler retention push pins are known to fall out sometimes, and this stops the heatsink making good contact with the CPU.

thanks ! i'll try the thing with the cooler

Does that temp every change form 106? Or does it just sit at 106 always?

only in heavy games but in most games it's like 89C-95C
and while doing absolutely nothing it's 54C

If you overclocked your CPU, I think you need to get aftermarket cooler as primary solution for overheating CPU problems. What your CPU clock rate now? CM Hyper 212 X / Evo / Plus can be good in cooling performance and also cheaper price.

Did your PC locate in room with air-conditioner? If not maybe the hot temperature weather out there effect them. Just my thought only. Anyway you can get aftermarket cooler like I said earlier. Good luck.
