The other day I opened up my pc to install a new hard drive. I hadn’t succeeded at installing my hard drive but besides that, everything went decently well, except that I had to push a few extra psu cables around. When I turned my pc back on, every component turned on normally. My gpu and mobo lit up I heard the hard drive and gpu fans. However, my my monitor, keyboard and mouse did not. I put my pc off and I turned it back on a day later and it booted up normally and displayed my desktop page on the monitor.

Then I noticed I hadn’t installed my hard drive properly. I opened my pc up again and searched for the right cable to plug into my hard drive. It seemed to have worked, but my peripherals weren’t turning on again. I checked the next day and they still weren’t turning on. Then I reseated my gpu and switched the pcie power cables and removed the pcie extedner (since I thought one of the wires were damaged or missing) and swapped it for another cable but it still didn’t work. Help?
