Hello everyone,

I recently finished building a computer. All moving parts of the computer are in motion when I turn the PC on, but nothing happens on the monitor.

What should I do?

Specs:
Motherboard: Asus H97M Plus
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k
GPU: EVGA GTX 970
PSU: EVGA 650 GQ
Case: NZXT Noctis 450

Thank you!

I don't quite understand what you mean, sorry

Your motherboard has video output so try those instead of the GTX970. If this doesn't work remove a stick of ram and test. The swap it out with the other stick and test. Note the vga, dvi, and hdmi ports in the image.

Thanks! I removed the video card and the bios opened. Now what?

Everything else works. I had the plugs routing to the PSU connected to the GPU up until the Bios opened. I am planning on moving the hard drive in the computer I am currently using to the new one, so should I do that now?

Thanks for the help!

Is it safe to take the hard drive I am currently using and to put it into my NEW computer?

It's windows 7

So should I backup my files onto another computer (not the new one) and just add the drive?

I am using the WD blue 1 TB Drive and the old one is the Seagate Barracuda 1000gb Drive

I have installed windows 10 RETAIL on my new WD Drive. Next, should I install the GPU drivers?

Thank you so much for the help! One last question: how do I add the other drive if it has Windows 7 on it?

The drive was automatically activated. Do I need to install the Apps again (Battle.net, Overwatch, Steam)?

UPDATE: I poked around and found all of my old files. Thank you all so much for the help!
