Hi guys, I'm going to try and explain this the best I can.

I just bought a ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 Super OC Edition 12GB. I installed it, and everything has been working fine.

But today when I turned on my computer, everything turned on except the monitor - it was black, but you can tell it wasn't off. It's when I hit my PC's reset button that everything then boots up, and works fine. I'm on my PC right now, and there's no issues. I have checked the inputs, and I did a clean install of drivers for my card.

My power supply is 750W
Windows 11 Home (all up to date)
Intel i9 9900KF
32GB DDR5

Mod Edit:

I am also am using dual monitors.

What make/model PSU do you have?
how old is it?

so its working fine now?
my PSU is a Smart BX1 730W ... it's probably six years old?

It's still acting the same. If my computer is off for awhile, I turn it on, and the screen is on, but black. It's only when I reboot that everything pops on fine. The computer turns on, everything is on.. just the screen is black at first.

Mod Edit:

I don't have any errors popping up anywhere either.

I ended up doing a fresh install of Windows 11.

I had originally done a clean install of my GPUs drivers, but something was still off. The card was running fine with no errors, and I passed a stress test with flying colors. It was time for a fresh new install of Windows anyhow.

Everything is perfect now.
