Hi. I recently got problems with my 8y old pc. On start up , it refused to start. When I unplugged 1 of my 3 screens , it started up again. When I wanted to shut down the pc , the screens go dark as they should , but the pc keeps running , so I need to shut it of manualy.

Last week , while gaming , my keyboard + headset lights started flickering and both became unresponsive. Games do run normal once i got the pc started.

My speccs : cpu - i7 7800x gpu - gtx1080Ti ram - 32gb psu - Corsair CX500M (500w)

I don't have enough knowledge to know what the problem would be and I don't want to random spend money replacing parts as it's expansive.

My thoughts are : Maybe I need to replace the CPU or Maybe the MOBO is the problem ?

Hoping to find help here so I can finaly have a normal working pc again ....

Hey there,

Well for a start, you should get yourself a suitable power supply for your PC. Yours is underpowered, and not a very good one at that. It most certainly could be causing issues like this.

Are all of your system drivers and bios up to date? If not, start by doing that.

Try running sfc scannow, and DISM: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...em-files-79aa86cb-ca52-166a-92a3-966e85d4094e
Hi. Thanks for helping !

I always install windows updates and my gpu is also always updated. I have never done a BIOS update in my life. I have a new PSU - brand Cooler Master gold 850. Would that Be good enough ?
