I have come to a halt lately, asking myself why i have my pc running so slow. Then i look at my RAM in CPUZ, and i'm only running 1063mhz of the 3800 i can be running at? How to change this?

Solution

not likely on a pre-built, they usually have crap motherboards that only have basic features to run the PC as it came maybe even have locked the bios

you can try going into the bios and enabling XMP profile on the ram if it even has that option...

Post back with the make and model of the ram you bought.

You don't make any sense with what you said. How can you not be sure when the GPU's temp is also displayed in MSI afterburner?
I don't get why you thought that your RAM would run at 3800 in the first place and now you say something about 3k plus. Your RAM CAN NOT run at those clocks. You are certainly confusing something else with the RAM MHz.
Please try to explain better what you meant in your previous post.

That screenshot is from your GPU clocks.
You can do many things for less than 10$. You can buy a new thermal paste to change the one you have, reseating your cooler as well.
You are angry with your choice of PC and it's lack of performance which is understandable but you act like you don't want to be helped.

If those clocks are when NOT playing, they are ok. If it's while gaming, they are low.
Afterburner can display on the top left corner while playing, info on GPU utilisation/ clocks /temps and also for CPU as well. It's better if you see it while inside the game.
