As title mentions, PC will randomly black screen - monitor (tested both HDMI and Display Port and different monitors), display no signal, my PC is still on, my sound still works and half the time I can still use media controls on my keyboard. This seems to primarily happen whilst I'm playing games but has happened when I boot up a program like Steam, use YouTube, launch a game (clicking play on it's launcher). Once I restart, or any restart for that matter, there is a 50/50 chance whether or not it actually launches after taking a couple minutes or it just sits there with no display.

This began happening a couple weeks ago, quite a bit of research led me to believe that this could have been some sort of RAM issue or potentially my BIOS not being updated, or potentially my PSU. I went ahead and replaced my RAM, it couldn't XMP/D.O.C.P anyway without crashing, updated my bios to the latest and I have tested my PSU and there doesn't seem to be any glaring issues from what I'm seeing. Can't see any spikes in usage, voltage or temp whatsoever. This seems to be a very inconsistent issue as well, sometimes my PC boots, runs the same game for 10 hours, or the same editing software with no problem, sometimes I can't even get into any sort of media without it having the issue.

To summarize, the solutions I've tried thus far:
  • Replacing RAM
  • Updating BIOS to latest build
  • Running tests with RAM, turning off D.O.C.P/EXPO, trying different speeds, ie, putting it down to 6000Mhz, 4000Mhz and so on.
  • Tested PSU - tested any spikes in voltage, usage or temps, with no outlandish results.
  • Replaced Display Port and HDMI cables, switched which end is plugged into the system vs monitor, tried different ports on both GPU and monitors.
  • Scanned PC using Malwarebytes, found nothing.
  • Turned off FASTBOOT
  • Used DDU to uninstall drivers, reinstalled them.
Specs:
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.22631
  • MOTHERBOARD: ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO (UPDATED to 2007)
  • GPU: ASUS ROG RTX 4090
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X
  • RAM: XPG Lancer RGB ROG CERTIFIED - 16GBx2 6600 Speed (got this based on a sale, good reviews and it being on my motherboard's list of supported RAM)
  • PSU: be quiet! DARK POWER PRO 12 1500W POWER SUPPLY 80PLUS TITANIUM\

Unfortunately I don't have any logs etc, but can get them on request where necessary. Does anyone have a clue what this could begin to be? Its been stumping me, had this PC since around 08/2022, with no issues whatsoever but recently this issue starting cropping up only a few weeks ago. The only thing I haven't tried is a complete format and a reinstall of Windows but I'm willing. Thank you for your help in advanced.

Remove the gpu and connect to the igp.....test.

Removed it about an hour ago, just been processsing it.

My PCIE is completely burnt out, GPU and cables both affected, PSU is a nightmare to get to so haven’t checked it just yet, fingers crossed. Everything still within warranty so it’s more a hassle than an outright loss.
