like i said, my pc randomly loses power and shuts off. it then starts back up on its own after about 2-3 seconds. there is nothing specific that causes this to happen.
i can play games for hours without it shutting down. there are times where im not even using my pc and it restarts on its own. the worst part is that it can sometimes go days, weeks, or even months without restarting so you never really know if youve fixed the problem.

here is a list of the things that i have already done.

- Disabled automatic rebooting. (i dont get a BSOD)
- Plugged the PC into the wall instead of a power strip
-bought a brand new PSU (pc rebooted within the same day)
- Ran memtest, no errors
-reseated my cpu cooler
-unplugged EVERYTHING and plugged it back in
-bought a new SSD. not to try and fix this problem, but just to upgrade. still shutting down.

Ive got an
i7-3770 (not overclockable) with an aftermarket cooler on it.
Sapphire R9 390
16GB DDR3 @1200 MHz
500GB samsung 850 Evo
ASRock Z77 Pro4-M motherboard
and a EVGA G2 750W PSU
OS: Windows 10

could it be my motherboard and GPU not playing well together?
i dont know what to try anymore. any help would be a appreciated

well its fairly simple now days and if you are having problems like you describe then its either PSU or motherboard related here is how you would do it
BIOS
to access the bios hammer the delete key before system boots up as soon powered on
have a fresh formatted FAT32 USB stick download the bios from motherboard manufacturer only stick the bios you just downloaded on the USB stick recommend at least 2 bios's re-boot press the delete button repeatedly to get into your bios select system then update bios select usb device flash it leave it to do its thing then you should be good with your new bios
if done wrong will brick your motherboard

My motherboard manufacturer actually has a program which lets you upgrade the bios from the desktop. So I just used that. Made it super easy. I just updated so I guess all I have to do now is wait and hope it worked.
