Ive a windows 10 and my pc has been working fine for the past year and then randomly like 1 month back it froze and i couldnt press anything, couldnt open anything but i could move my mouse around. The only way to reset my pc was to press the power button. Up until now yesterday my pc froze 3 times yesterday 2 times in 2 hours and thats when i got scared before i thought it might of been just this once. I know its not over heating because i track my cpu temperature and all and if it did over heat it would just shut down my pc but its like my screen freezes but i can move my mouse around and thats all. If you can suggest any way to fix this id be really happy thanks.

When i open event viewer there are some errors and warning but i dont know what im looking for so i dont know what they mean, some of the warnings were when i turned off my pc and they were kernel power. When i open reliability history theres a couple warnings and errors that show what happened 1 month ago but again i dont know what im looking for so i dont what they mean too. http://prntscr.com/livhy5 http://prntscr.com/livi1j

And if nothing turns up you have another course of action available:

After a year or so, it is very likely that your system needs some maintenance.

If you are comfortable doing so, open up your case and check all connections, cables, card, RAM, jumpers, etc..

Ensure that all are fully and firmly in place. Heating and cooling (plus vibration) causes the cards and connections to creep loose. Not enough to necessarily stop things but just enough to create intermittent problems.

Clean the inside of the case as well especially if it full of debris such as dust, paper scraps, hairs, dried bugs, and so forth. Look for some "how to clean" tutorials. Read and learn the "do's and don'ts"'
