Yes I can see the fan running. It may be stopping due to overheating then finding it gets any better on the next attempt.
Can you hear or see the CPU cooler fan running?
I don’t understand how it’s a heating problem though? It’s never had an issue with overheating before. The fan works fine and I’ve been able to use it for over a month now without problems until this happened.Yes I can see the fan running.
I’m not sure what the hibernation is in windows. I haven’t turned anything like that on that I know of. I’ll check the ram slots though.I just like to get the simple possibilities out of the way first.
Another one is the RAM. If you have two sticks, remove one and see if that helps. If it doesn't, put that stick back and remove the other.
In Windows systems, hibernation can cause chaos. Is yours turned on?
I tried changing the ram slots and also tried with only one. Now I can’t even get to the bios screen. It just gets stuck and the motherboard is giving me a “0d” code with a yellow light.Echo, echo
Ok so I checked the CPU and the ram and those aren’t the problems. I also for the 0d code to go away. It’s back to rebooting at the bios. So that leaves the hard drive as a possibility now. What else?I’m not sure what the hibernation is in windows. I haven’t turned anything like that on that I know of. I’ll check the ram slots though.
Update:I would still suspect the RAM because one stick can't even boot the system. That would tell me two sticks are equally struggling to keep things running smoothly.
