Hi everybody,
I just wanted to consult on this issue I have for quite a while now.
First of all PC specs:
GPU: MSI RTX 2080 ti (no overclocking for the purpose of this comment, also regularly updated using NVIDIA GeForce Experience App)
CPU: i7-8700k @ 3.7 GHz cooled by Corsair H115i PRO (not overclocked)
Windows 10 (regurlarly updated)
PSU: Corsair HX850i (850W)
Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming pro carbon
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinium 32 Gb (2x16Gb)
The issue: I get sudden reboots when playing Steam games especially in moments when graphic stress is obvious (e.g. volumetric clouds in screen, load of particles moving around, etc). Also I tried to run MSI Kombustor test and I get a sudden reboot right in the moment I click to open the program. The issue happens without even overcloking the GPU so it cannot be due to that either.
I know it is not a temperature problem as I monitor the temperature when playing and both GPU and CPU do not go above 70 C at any point. I also don't think it will be a power fail with 850W available. Any suggestions or things I could try?
All the best and thanks in advance!
Alex
