PC Restarting When Clicking Anything in the BIOS! PLEASE HELP!

So I'm trying to overclock my cpu but everytime I go into the bios and into a menu it's just automatically restarts the whole computer. I have tried using only the mouse and only the keyboard but it's the same problem. Trying unplugging everything still same problem, it restarts when I click on anything and if a don't click anything the bios just freezes! I really need help with this. PLEASE!

Did you try updating bios? Some manufactures have utilities that can be run from windows or dos, so try these if you cant use build-in updater in bios.

Clear CMOS

There is'nt any installer like that for my motherboard.

If clearing cmos as Dan414 suggest wont help, MSI live update 6 should be able to update bios from windows.

Nothing worked I cleared the cmos I updated my mobo nothing is working still same issue!

Then either something is causing it, so try unplug everything you can or mb is faulty.

Ok, so I just found out that its only when I go into the advanced options that it restarts my pc. It's not any of the other options. What's up with that.

Maybe a problem with the BIOS update? Could you "update" to an older version of the BIOS? Just guessing here now. I was confident resetting the bios would work, so now I'm just as stumped as you.

How do I go back to an older version?

Just download older version and flash it in bios, most of time it would allow it. Just make sure you wont be getting rid of support something you need to use, like cpu as these boards are getting kaby lake support via bios update.

I just tried that but when i clicked on the device i wanted to flash from that also froze the bios
I'm getting more stressed over this.

At this point i would consider returning board if you still have it under warranty.
