Hello guys,
I will get a new GPU to replace my AMD Radeon HD 7770 2GB ASUS and we have another pc that never got the hardware it deserved. This other one has a Core 2 Duo E4600 @2.4Ghz and currently a Nvidia GT 220 ASUS.
Will this quite old CPU bottleneck the Radeon? Please tell me as my little brother wants a computer for him and adding this card would make it a lot more pleasant to play on with the added GPU power. Only question is will it be bottlenecked?
PS: I also have a 450W PSU in there so its enough as the CPU is frugal on power
Thanks for answering guys

Solution
An AMD Radeon HD 7770 probably will be bottlenecked by the Core 2 Duo E4600, but that doesn't mean you won't get a substantial performance increase from the GT 220. A partially bottlenecked AMD Radeon HD 7770 is still much better than a GT 220.
