Question pc runs extremely slow when downloading games

Anytime i go to download a game my pc slows down to a snails pace. The mouse cursor stops moving and lagging, letters won't type, and a lot more issues. Any fixes i could try to sort it out?

Steam, Epic Games, and the Xbox app. My SSD has 500gb free

I suspect you have a lot of unneeded services running. Go through the lists in Task Manager\Services and Task Manager\Processes and see how many you see hat are not needed. They are typically installed "bloatware". Disable/ suspend all the unneeded ones and see if that helps.
