Question PC Screen goes black, fans speed up, no restart

Hello Everyone,

I am having an issue where when I start up certain games and the game loads in my computer screen will just go black, the fans will go max speed and it will just hang on that screen until I force a restart by holding the power button in.

I have tried replacing my cooler since I would get low 80C temps on load, now getting low 50C, still happens. Tried turning down the settings, which seemed to help but it just started acting up again. I'm kind of out of ideas now and would really like a second opinion on what might be happening here.

My System:
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite Wifi
GeForce RTX 2080
Ryzen 9 3900XT
Seasonic 650W PSU

Is this a new build? All your drivers up to date? The PSU may be a bit on the weak side for a 2080 and 3900XT.

The CPU and Mobo are about a year old and the GPU is about 3 years old. I did make sure my drivers were up to date and I'm not sure how old the psu is. So old that it was probably on another Newegg account since I can't find it in my order history, going back to 2016.
