Question PC showing display on HDMI, DisplayPort not working.

I've got an HDMI plugged in to my motherboard and it's working fine. My monitor that supports DisplayPort is hooked up to the GPU, however it says no signal 90% of the time and sometimes it will work fine and i can use both monitors with no issues but that's rarely the case.

I've used two different DisplayPort cables and neither made a difference.

Please mention the make and models of both panels and the make and model of your display output device(discrete or off your motherboard). Include the GPU driver version too.
