pc shut down after install new gpu

Hi everyone
Today i got rx 480 gaming x i plug it on the pc and plug 6 bin connector instead of 8 bin (i search on google and find i can plug 6 bin instead of 8 bin and the card should work i try this and gpu work after start pc and install drivers ad play for some hours pc shut down i start it again and play for a little time and same thing happened i shut down the pc and try to know what is cause this problem so i want some help the pc shut down only when use the gpu and i play at max setting uses all the gpu power im dont know anything about psu the only thing i know its 550 watt there is no pcie connector in this psu so i use molex to 6 bin i bought this psu used before 2.5 years anyone can help me

More than likely, the power supply cannot support the graphics card. Graphic cards require power:

PCI-Ex16 supplies up to 75 watts of power.
PCIE 6-Pin supplies up to an additional 75 watts of power.
PCIE 8-Pin supplies up to an additional 150 watts of power.

Your shut downs are likely caused by your graphics card requiring more than 150 watts of power (hence why it has an 8-pin power connector). Additionally, I'm not a huge fan of adapters for power connections (just another point of failure where you REALLY do not want one). My recommendation would be to replace the power supply that has at least one of the required PCIE 8-pin power connectors.

I actually dont have money for psu but i can get hp server psu 800 watt around 20$ but in this psu there only 6 bin or get cheap psu

I'd probably recommend the most expensive, but within your budget of these three. Each has at least one PCIE 8-Pin (6+2-pin) which is designed for your graphics card.

so the last question can i play some game like put all setting to low and not heavy games
games form 2009-2013
or i cant play anything until install psu ??

Possibly you could, but it would be extremely unreliable if your GPU is not being supplied enough power. If your GPU is lacking a lot of power, you may not be able to run the most basic games or complete the most basic tasks for an extended period of time.
