Specs:
-CPU: FX-6300 (OC'd to ~3.8 GHz)
-GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 SC
-PSU: EVGA SuperNova 850w G3
-RAM: 16Gb DDR3 HyperX Fury
-OS: Win10 Home (pretty sure)

I've never really had a problem with this before, but I was in the middle of working, and had some other windows in the background (videos running on both chrome and firefox) along with some other tabs in the foreground that I was working with, had EVGA XOC running, a Windows Store "YouTube" clone, Steam, and that was relatively it. Everything appeared to be working correctly and it suddenly shuts off, without warning. Screen goes blank, keyboard and mouse go dim, mic goes dim, etc. I don't think my parts are starved as I have 850w available, and as stated, this hasn't happened (save for a few times a while ago). Another issue I am having is that my gpu appears to be stuck at ~1560-1600 MHz Core clock, and 4000-4010 MHz Memory clock, even with every extraneous program shut down. Please help, with both issues if possible, I am very concerned.

Thanks, Aidan

Solution
try reasting the gpu see if the gpu not fully locked into the slot. on the shutdown download and run hardware info 64 bit set it to logging and sensor see if the 12v rail in dropping. if it not the power supply watch the voltage and temp on the mb vrm.
