Today I was playing Minecraft when suddenly my pc shut down and it wouldn't turn back on. So I opened it up, disconnected the psu from everything and using the paperclip method it turned back on. Then I started connecting all the components again but when I connected it to the GPU, the PSU shut down again. Now I'm wondering if there's a problem with the GPU being broken or the PSU not giving enough power anymore. Does anyone know which one of the two causes this problem? I don't have acces to any other PSU or GPU's. And since there's literally no GPU's for sale atm I hope it's just the PSU :)

Hang on, you connected the gpu to the psu while the system was on? That could damage either the psu or gpu.

What is the full pc spec including make and model of the psu?
No, I always turned of the pc, then connected the next cable and so on. But when I connected the GPU the PSU won't start. If I then disconnect the GPU it works again.
The PSU is a FSP450-60EMDN
The GPU a msi 960 rtx
And the CPU an Intel core I7 (I don't remember which one since my pc is almost 7 years old)
