Hi tomshardwarians, 😛

PROBLEM
I'm in a problem. My PC was working fine, i was enjoying Assassins Creed IV but suddenly, someday, texture rendering distance decreased automatically even though i'm on max settings. Now every thing, textures, vegetations, shadows, civillians, pops-out in front of me and it is pretty much annoying. Then after somedays my PC decided to shutdown on its own and reboots again, i mean what the heck!? I thought it is because of AMD latest drivers (18.2.2) update, that i updated recently, causing problems. So I reverted back to 17.2.1 where was i before all this started. My problem was gone for a while but then it started again!! WTH!:fou: Also windows feature update rolled out recently and i Updated it since then i started facing that graphic glitch for sure! I'll make a clean Install of windows 10 but before i want to hear from you guys what the problem might be! I used to have Blue Screen of Death issue after windows update some months ago. I reinstalled the window and problem solved! IDK Why does Microsoft f*** with the PC again again by releasing stupid updates😱:fou:

Further Explanantions: It only shutdowns while playing games! Also important thing, sometimes green lines (Graphical) occur on my display before my PC Shutsdown and makes a weird sound

My specs:

plus I have a Cooler Master TX3 EVO CPU Cooler & Corsair VS550 Watt PSU & R9 270x Dual x Sapphire Card

Temperatures (in load and in Idle):

My GPU temperature goes high as 74 dc idk if it is normal. These were the values when i played ACIV

I recently added LEDs to my PC:

Update:
Got a new PSU CX650M now ! I am already frustated 🙁 I spent so many in this PSU and now my problem is still not fixed! Can anyone out there with some knowledge help me?

PSU is pretty bad, lowest in Corsair's lineup. Replace it asap.

Get a good psu like this one above.

For my configuration is vs550 not enough? Also it is not available in my country i think! If it is a PSU problem should I get Corsair VS650? it will cost me only Rs4000

The R9 requires a 500W PSU minimum. I would get a good quality one.

The option you recommended is like healing one foot and chopping off the other. The VS series is last in terms of quality and reliability from Corsair's line. NEVER cheap out on your PSU unless you like your PC to catch a fire or short out. The FX 6300 and R9 can get power hungry and hot, so get a GOOD QUALITY psu and with a good rating.

So it is because of the bad PSU? but i was running this build for 2 years without any issues. It started suddenly and recently. Okay, if it is then can you find a good one for my PC from the site Amazon.in and flipkart.com?

It's completely out of my budget! 🙁
I can afford something around 5500
what about this one?
https://www.amazon.in/Cooler-Master-GXII-Power-Supply/dp/B01FTI7LCM/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1519389625&sr=1-6&keywords=psu+650

I searched the internet and my psu was listed compatible with FX6300 and R9 270x ?

Any Alternative? Atm i cant afford a psu

Not really. Your specs are power hungry, and you need a good PSU.

This is the best I can do. It is not that great, but should work.

Thanks Man! I am planning on spending Rs 6k And CX is tier 4 PSU as far as i searched.
Help me choose one from below:

Seasonic S12II 620 @Rs6200
https://www.mdcomputers.in/smps/80-bronze/seasonic-620-watt-80-plus-bronze-s12ii-620.html

Seasonic M12II 520 EVO @Rs6200 ( does this Gold Modular unit worth more than the Semi-Modular Bronze with extra power?)
https://www.mdcomputers.in/seasonic-520-watt-80-plus-bronze-fully-modular-m12ii-520-evo.html

Corsair CX650M @Rs5700
https://www.mdcomputers.in/corsair-cx650m-80-plus-bronze-semi-modular-cp-9020103-uk.html

Corsair CX650 @Rs5300
https://www.mdcomputers.in/corsair-cx650-cp-9020122-uk.html

Thats all! first of all, do i really need a 650 watt PSU or 550 is enough? if 550 is enough then Corsair CX series will be fine or not for my pc or should i spend more to get something Seasonic branded? or should i get CX650 at just rs5300?
Or what else do u suggest?

Take the one I suggested if you are on a budget, also due to it being released last year only.

You can do with 550, but AMD tends to be power hungry.

I would say go with that Gold Unit, but with 520 W it may be cutting close. I would take it if I am sure I do not have any other power hungry components. Or take the CX650M for Overhead.

Can someone help me with this! Is anyone here! My problem isnt solved yet i hot a new PSU and changed the cooling paste also but my pc still restarts 🙁 I bought the PSU from my saving and now i feel like I have wasted my money ive already have my old PSU which is not damaged I know now 🙁 please someone help me

Okay. Run memtest86 on each of your RAM sticks, and/or try a wipe. The wipe should be last resort.

Try a BIOS update on your mobo, and drivers update again. I am surprised this is still ongoing considering all your symptoms were mostly the same as in PSU's.

I didnt reply because there was no peoblem until yesterday!
My PC is rebooting again and again on gaming!
idk what to do 🙁
How to run a wipe?

Symptoms still point towards a PSU failure.

Did you run memtest? Do a clean reinstall of your games and drivers. Try the RAM sticks in different slots.

Simply search your PC for a Reset PC option to do a wipe. This should be last option and only when you have backed up your data.

First of all thanks for replying,

I don't understand why will my PSU be faulty? I have a brand new PSU now!
And for wipe thing, i have reinstalled my windows, now installing a game to see how it performs. I'll let you know if i see any reboots!
