It has only started recently, I changed my graphics card from a GTX 760 to a GTX 1060 3GB. Previously my pc would actually be really hot and make a lot of noise, but since then ive also added another fan. Now lately, ive been playing games and the pc 1 hour or less late shuts down randomly. I cant find the problem 🙁

Ok i checked event viewer on windows 10, and it says at the hour my pc goes down randomly, its due to a kernel power error. It cant be the power supply i have it for 2 years and it never had any problems even with this graphic card this just started all of a sudden .

8GB RAM
AMD FX-63006-CORE PROCESSOR 3.5 GHZ
windows 10
NVIDIA GTX 1060 3 GHZ

My GPU temps are okay and so is the CPU.

What tool are you using to check your temps? How do you know the temperatures you're hitting just before the pc shuts down? Are you using software that keeps a log? It would be nice to know specifics regarding your min/max/average temperatures, especially since you've identified temperature as a problem before. Adding a fan is good and all, but can you quantify the improvement?

I've been using AIDA62 to stress every component on the pc, and after a while it shutdown. Im getting an average of 65 C on CPU while stressed, and 35 on GPU while stressed

how do i check my psu?

I had a talk with the tech from my store it probably is an overheating of the cpu, i havent cleaned for a while, the power supply seems unlikely since my pc doesnt shut down while not playing games, this only happens while playing games. Also i tried prime95 and after i stressed the cpu for about 5 mins, it shut down the pc 🙁

PSU faults usually occur when gaming, its when they are under the most load. This is one reason gaming PC's need higher quality PSU's than a general desktops. Overheating can cause shut downs in extreme cases but its unlikely, usually the CPU speed is throttled down to reduce heat long before the critical temperature is reached. Not saying it cannot be overheating but with the symptoms described PSU would be my first thought.
