Question Pc shuts down within 1 min of startup

Awhile back my computer started to shut down on me after an hour or two of being on it. Now it shuts off almost immediately when I start it up. I checked for new thermal paste and even put a new power supply in it, but the same thing happens. Any ideas what the issue is?

Could be a bad cooler if you replaced the thermal paste.

What cooler do you have?
Are you able to stay in bios? Look at the temps in bios.

I have a Corsair H60 and sadly no. I've tried to, but it just doesnt last long enough.

Have you replaced your CMOS battery? What model is your MB and how old is it?

I have not replaced the CMOS battery and my MB is a M5A97 R2.0

Are you sure the pump is still working? Fairly common problem for the pumps to fail on AIO’s after a few years.

Would it shut off if it stopped working? Because it doesnt overheat at all, but if it would still shut off nonetheless then it could be possible.

How do you know it’s not overheating? I thought you were unable to get into the bios to check?

Well awhile back it worked a couple of times but only enough time to watch the temp settle. Now it's gotten worse to where I cant. So that's really the only useful info I have unfortunately.

Do you have another cooler to try? Did the cpu come with a stick cooler?

Sadly no to both of those.
